CLIFTON BARRY MEADE

Clifton Barry Meade, age 64, of Pound succumbed to Covid-19 and double pneumonia on Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Ft. Sanders Hospital in Knoxville, Tenn. Barry was a 1974 graduate of Pound High School and entered the work force. He was employed at Jefferson City with Nyspar Company. He was preceded in death by his father, Clayton Meade and his daughter, Stephanie Dawn Sturgill.

He is survived by his wife, Michelle Meade; his two sons, Dustin Meade and Nathaniel Meade of Knoxville, Tenn.; his mother, Kay Beverly Dotson of Clintwood; his brother, Myron Meade of Austin, Tx.; two grandsons, Julien Sturgill and Grayson Meade and one granddaughter, McKaylee Meade.

A short memorial service will be held at a later date at the Meade Cemetery at Pound. Online condolences may be made at www.mullinsfuneralhome.net.
