PATSY ROSE BAKER

Patsy Rose Baker age 77, passed away Friday Jan. 28, 2022. She was born the daughter of the late Lawrence “Bose’ and Hazel Phillips Rose, a lifelong resident of Dickenson County. A graduate of Ervinton High School and Liberty University, worked and retired from Dickenson County Social Services working with Foster Children program and a member of the Honey Camp Free Will Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Linza Baker, Sr.; two brothers, Alfred Carl Rose and Bill Rose.

Survivors include her son, Linza Brandon Baker and wife Amanda and grandson, Linza Blake Baker, all of Clintwood; three brothers, Harold Rose and wife Ann, Glennis Rose and wife Delana of Clintwood, and Jack Rose of Rogersville, Tenn., along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services for Patsy Rose Baker was conducted at 11 a.m., Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at the Clintwood Funeral Home chapel with Troy Belcher officiating. Burial followed at the Rose-Hill Cemetery, Rose Ridge community. Pallbearers were Mathew Dingus, Jason Dingus, Cliff Phipps, Jeff Willis, Dee Moore, Evertte Moore, Ben McFall and Blake Baker. The family received friends Monday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. where a song service was held at 7 p.m.

Clintwood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
