BETTY JANE WRIGHT

Betty Jane Wright, age 84, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022 at Norton Community Hospital. She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lundy Wright I; her parents, Monroe and Jennie Lyall; her son, Lundy Wright II; her brothers, Robert Lyall, Junior Lyall, Marvin Lyall, Grady Lyall, and Brady Lyall; and her sisters, Jean Harrison and Fay Wood.

Survivors include her daughter, Ligeia (Barry) Wallace; two grandchildren, Brandon Wallace and Betty Leanne Wallace; five great-grandchildren, Kaleigh Wallace, Kirsten Wallace, Kennadi Wallace, Noah Wallace, and Parker Evans and several nieces and nephews.

The family received friends Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A graveside service was conducted at 1 p.m. at The Lyall Cemetery, Baker Ridge, Clintwood. Gary Mullins officiated. Burial followed. Pallbearers were Barry Wallace, Brandon Wallace, Derek Lyall, Jake Lyall, and Benny Yates. Online condolences may be made at www.mullinsfuneralhome.net.
