Haunted Tales of the Chase House at the Ralph Stanley Museum

A Spooky Good Time was held Thursday and Friday with ghostly tales of The Chase House, a 100 + year old historical home, now the Ralph Stanley Museum once a funeral home, a boarding house and now a standing memorial to Ralph Stanley.

This event was promoting Red Robbin week. During this event 40 Revive kits and lots of water bottles, pen notebooks and lock boxes were distributed. Prep plant refuse raises resident concerns
The Virginia Department of Energy last week presented a $300,000 grant to Breaks Interstate Park for construction of a new swimming pool. The funding comes from the Abandoned Mine Land Economic Revitalization program. The new pool is expected to increase park visits, add nearly $100,000 in annual revenue and create five to seven seasonal jobs. PROVIDED BY VIRGINIA ENERGY
