CARROLL PUCKETT

Carroll Puckett age 89, passed away Monday, August 30, 2021 at Heritage Hall in Clintwood. Mr. Puckett was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County and a retired surface coal miner. He was of the Christian faith and a member of Clintwood Masonic Lodge. He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved hunting and fishing.
Mr. Puckett was preceded in death by his parents, Cowan and Stella Mullins Puckett; four brothers, Kermit, Joe, Clayton and Bill Puckett; three sisters, Nell Stanley, Geraldine Swindall and Janet Lyall.
Survivors include his wife Ella Faye Puckett of Clintwood; two sons, David Puckett and Pat of Waynesville, North Carolina and Robert Puckett and Maureen of Gray, Tennessee; one daughter, Kay Puckett and Kendal of Clintwood; two brothers, Jerry Puckett of U.P. Michigan and David Toliver Puckett of Georgetown, Florida; two grandchildren, Tiffany Hughes and Zachary and Adam Puckett; three great-grandchildren, Zoei, Gavin and Gage Puckett; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family received friends Thursday, September 2nd from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service followed at Dock Mullins Cemetery, Wolfe Pen Road.
