JAMES E ‘JIM’ WHITE

James E. “Jim” White, age 81, went home to his Lord on Friday, August 13, 2021 at Norton Community Hospital. He attended Pound River Church and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was retired from the Virginia Department of Transportation.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ogsby and Minnie White, five brothers, and two sisters.

Survivors include one sister, Pat Christen of Marion, Oh.; nephew, Tim Holt of Marion, Oh and nieces and nephews. Close special friends Steve and LeAnna Blansett and their son John; Dennis Ring and Giles Sykes and canine companion, Lucy.

The family received friends, Monday, August 16, 2021 at 6 p.m. at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel with funeral services that followed at 7 p.m. Bill Rose and Doug Moore officiating. A graveside service was conducted Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Temple Hill Memorial Park in Castlewood at 11 a.m. Burial followed
