Alpha Upsilon Society honors member Brenda Baker

Alpha Upsilon Chapter of the DKG met at the walking park near Food City on Tuesday, July 27. Those attending enjoyed food from the Subway, making this a picnic/working meeting.

We are proud to present a membership certificate to Brenda Baker for her 25 years in our Alpha Upsilon Society. Our Alpha Upsilon Chapter of The Delta Kappa Gamma, IOTA State, has been established, in Dickenson County, since June 25, 1966. We still retain two charter members: Mary Hylton of Clintwood and Katy Jo “Arrington” Powers of Haysi. We love and appreciate all our members who continue to work toward the betterment of education.

Educators, in our county, give so much to our children. Hope you can say “Thank You” when next you see one of them in or around your community.
