Return of the Tree Swallow

It becomes a very special day when the Tree Swallows return to Long Ridge from Mexico and Central America.  A couple of days ago one was spotted on a wire at the home of Wayne and Genevie Riner. The beautiful blue and white male comes to the same location each year and checks out a bird house ahead of the female’s arrival.
