GEORGE HERBERT MULLINS

George Herbert Mullins age 90, of Clintwood, passed away Thursday, March 4, 2021 at his residence. Mr. Mullins was born in Dickenson County, the son of the late Harmon and Nora Mullins. He served his country in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Mullins was a retired coal miner and a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Mullins was preceded in death by his brother Clovis Mullins and sister Marlene Fleming.

Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Eulala Mullins of Clintwood; son, Randy Mullins and Nadine of Clintwood; daughter, Mitzi Murphy and Ricky of Clintwood; brothers, Morrison Mullins and Harmon Mullins, Jr., both of Clintwood; grandchildren, Kimberly Mullins, Bradley Murphy, Randall Mullins and Nick Mullins; great-grandchildren, Austin Mullins, Ashley Mullins, Daniel Mullins, Alex Mullins and Bella Munoz.

A graveside service was held Sunday, March 7, 1 pm at Hawkins Cemetery, Hawkins Farm Road. Tarncey Mullins officiated. Family and friends served as pallbearers.
