Internet help is offered

People Incorporated is helping qualifying residents who are impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic to get internet service.

People could qualify if they have lost a job, had their work hours cut, need to work with children on schoolwork from home or other pandemic impacts. Clients must meet income eligibility, documentation requirements and must show a need for internet service.

The service is funded by federal CARES Act money and is available in Dickenson, Russell, Buchanan and Washington counties along with Bristol.
