PATSI COLLEY MCCORMICK

Patsi Colley McCormick, age 80, of Kingsport Tenn., passed away on February 2, 2021. Patsi was born and raised in Clintwood and graduated from Clintwood High School. After attending Lynchburg College, she married and had three children: Christa, Chandon and Cari. In 1976, she moved to Austin, Texas9 and spent time as a stay-at-home mother and then as an employee of IBM. After retiring, she found a passion for genealogy and has published several books about the Lockhart family which reside in the Clintwood library. In addition to her two parents, Arthur and Sophronia Colley, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tom McCormick.

Left to mourn her loss and cherish memories are her children, Christa Karel Conner, Chandon Konrad Ford, Cari Kassandra Hotter, her daughter and son-in-law’s, Keith Bradley Conner, Brenda Lee Ford, Timothy James Hotter; six grandchildren, Austin Bryan Conner, Paige Libbie Conner, Sydney Nikohl Plant, Nataley Renay Ford, Travis Jacob Hotter, and Kyla Brittnee Hotter and her brother, Chris L. Lockhart, his wife Lois and their daughter, Leslie Intemann.

Patsi requested that her ashes, together with those of her husband, Tom McCormick, be spread over Lake Travis in Austin, Texas in the Springtime.
