BURETTA POWERS DYE

Buretta Powers Dye, age 87, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2021 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was of the Pentecostal faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Dye; her parents, Charles Wedford Powers and Bessie Alice Moore Powers; and her sisters, Velma Beverly and Vera Powers.

Survivors include six children, Belinda Jessee, Carmella Hammonds, Jennifer Whisenhunt, Dodie Perry, Leai Little, Greg Dingus and daughter in law, Tammy Rose; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

The family received friends Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. with Jackie Fields officiating. Burial followed in the Wedford Powers Cemetery, Powers Branch Section, Clintwood.
Pallbearers were Ralph Whisenhunt, Timothy Whisenhunt, Tyler Woodruff, Gregory Harold Whisenhunt, Landon Rose, Nathan Johnson, and Landon Johnson Honorary pallbearers were Christopher Meade, Greg Dingus, Walter David Little, and Harold Johnson.
