Dickenson County is blessed with people who express creativity through craft. ‘When cutting and splitting firewood, I look for pieces that are of interest and that may be carved into unique items,’ says Long Ridge’s Wayne Riner of this image. ‘The tools pictured belonged to my grandfather, and I thought of him as I worked on this piece.
