Old historic courthouse only structure in Dickenson County to be included on the National Register of Historic Places

In 1942 five original paintings of the county’s founding fathers were hung on the walls of the old courtroom in the old Historic Courthouse.  Since 1942, two other paintings have been added to the walls.  This photo was made in 2015 by a member of the Historical Society.
