BOB HALL

Bob Hall, age 73, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Dickenson Community Hospital. He was born in Letcher County, Kentucky and moved to Dickenson County in 1980. He was a member of Splashdam Freewill Baptist Church and a member of The Clintwood Masonic Lodge #66. He served as clerk of The Freewill Baptist Association. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Fay Hall; his brother, Eddie Hall Jr.; and his sister, Charlene Vankirk.

Survivors include hiswife, Pavelina Counts of Clintwood; his son, Joseph Edward Hall of Waddy, Ky.; his daughter, Stacey Johnson and husband Sam of Jasper, Ind.; one sister, Lynda Hall of Lodi, Oh.; two brothers, Fred Hall of Whitesburg, Ky. and Gary Hall of Strongville, Oh.; four grandchildren, Kristin Ashley Hall, Joseph Anderson Hall and wife, Whitney, Maria Johnson and Steven Johnson; four great-grandsons, Carson, Wyatt, Weston, and Waylon and several nieces and nephews.

The family received friends Monday, December 28, 2020 at 12 p.m. at Splashdam Freewill Baptist Church. A Masonic service was conducted by Clintwood Masonic Lodge #66 at 1 p.m. with funeral services that followed. Danny Sluss officiated. Burial followed in the Family Cemetery at The Peuther Chapel Church Cemetery, Caney Ridge Section, Clintwood.
