DALLAS EVERETT AMOS

Dallas Everett Amos, age 69 of Lake Road, Clintwood, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2020 at the Mountain Home VA Hospital in Johnson City, Tenn. Born in Dickenson County, he was a son of the late Clyde and Ida May Musick Amos. He served in the U. S. Army during Vietnam and attended Clincho Pentecostal Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Guy Alan Amos, Clovis Amos, Arnold Acie Amos, Eulis Clyde Amos and Carnell Amos.

Survivors include sisters, Fannie Perry, Pauline Lockhart and Dollie Matney; special niece, Pam Monk and several nieces and nephews and special friend, Eddie O’Quinn.

Funeral services were conducted at 12, noon Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Haysi Funeral Home with Darrell Milgrim officiating. Military graveside rites followed at Musick Cemetery, Clintwood. A visitation was held after 6 p.m. Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Haysi Funeral Home. Online condolences may be sent to www.haysifuneral.com.
