ANITA STANLEY

Anita Stanley passed away Monday, November 16, 2020 at Heritage Hall in Big Stone Gap. Mrs. Stanley was born in the Philippines and had lived in Clintwood since 1958. She was of the Christian faith and was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Mrs. Stanley was preceded in death by her parents, Delfin and Concoraia Zamora; husband, Gordon Stanley and two sisters.
She is survived by four sons, Bobby Stanley and Judy of Wise, Donald Stanley and Lana of Clintwood, Carlos Stanley and Stephanie of Clintwood and Greg Stanley and Betty of Clintwood; three daughters, Elizabeth Riley of Clinton, Ia., Remona Purugana and Paul of Johnson City, Tenn. and Hope Ratliff and Mark of Bristol; her brother, Carlos Zamora of Manila, Philippines; eighteen grandchildren, twenty great-children and one great-great grandchild.
A funeral service was conducted Friday, November 20 at Noon in the Little Hope Old Regular Baptist Church. Greg Stanley and Elders Earl Dean Yates and Terry Hall officiated. Visitation began at 11 a.m. Burial followed in the John C. Stanley Cemetery, Bear Pen Creek Road. Family and friends served as pallbearers.
