JEWELL SWINDALL

Jewell Swindall age 87, of Clintwood, passed away Friday, November 13, 2020 at Heritage Hall, Big Stone Gap. She was born in Wise County and later moved to Cutler, Ca. before coming to Clintwood. She was a graduate of Clintwood High School and a retired office manager from Appalachian Power Company. Mrs. Swindall was a member of the Little Sarah Old Regular Baptist Church. She was owner operator of her own bakery and was a loving mother and grandmother.

Mrs. Swindall was preceded in death by her parents, Worley and Viola Whitt, husband, Thomas E. Swindall and four brothers.

Survivors include her son, Robert Swindall and wife Carolyn of Clintwood; three granddaughters, Lori Kendrick and Garry, Jr. of Clintwood, Brandi Browning and Tim of Abingdon, Cassie McAmis and Craig of Clintwood; seven great-grandchildren, Kealoha Kendrick, Logan Kendrick, Mason Kendrick, McKenzie Hall, Maddox McAmis, Jocelyn Browning and Gavin Browning; one niece, four nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

A graveside service was held Monday, November 16, 2 p.m. at Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, with Elder Earl Dean Yates officiating. Family and friends serves as pallbearers.
