LOIS IRENE WOOD

Lois Irene Woods, age 67 of Clinchco, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2020 at her residence. 

She was a daughter of the late Woodrow and Minnie Powers. She was last employed as a PCA in Home Care and of the Primitive Baptist faith. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sister-in-law, Jack (Burnice) Powers and Kenny Powers, and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dock and Imogene Woods.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Woods; a daughter, Jessica (Mike) Mullins of Haysi; a son, Stan (special daughter-in-law Judith) Woods of Clinchco; grandchildren, Sarah Adkins of Bristol, Tenn. and Austin Woods of Haysi; step-grandson, Shannon (Emily) Mullins of NC; great-grandchildren, Ethan and Grayson Woods; step-great-grandchild, Evie Johnson; brothers, Chester (Irene) Powers of Clinchco, Earnest (Edna) Powers of Clinchco and Willard (Janice) Powers of Dayton, Oh.; sisters, Violet (late Kelly) Edwards of Haysi, Bonnie (late Elvin) Lewis of Chicago, Il.; brother-in-law, Don (Laura) Woods of Clinchco and a sister-in-law, Wanda Kay Rasnake of Pounding Mill.

Funeral service were conducted 7 p.m. Monday, October 5, 2020 at Haysi Funeral Home with Elders Garnell Gilbert and Jim Duty officiating. he family received friends after 6 p.m. on Monday prior to the funeral service. 

A graveside service was held 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 6, at the Woods-Branham Cemetery, Clinchco. Pallbearers were family and friends. TOnline condolences may be sent to www.haysifuneral.com.
