LULA MARIE FLEMING LARGE

Lula Marie Fleming Large passed away Thursday, August 13, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her loved ones. Mrs. Large was a lifelong resident of Clintwood and retired from the Dickenson County Court System. She was of the Old Regular Baptist Faith and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother to many.

Mrs. Large was preceded in death by her husband, Asa Large; son, Gary Large; parents, George and Sally Stanley Fleming; two brothers, Woodrow Fleming and wife Josephine, William Junior Fleming and wife Jeanean.

Survivors include her children, Danny Large and Patty of Clintwood, Steve Large and Esther of Phoenix, Az., Teresa Anderson of Abingdon, Vicki Rasnick and Jimmy of Clintwood and George Large; grandchildren, Ronnie Large and Crystal, Virginia Martin and Chris, Thea Ranney and Mark, Billy Large and Sarah, Sally Anderson and Zack, Wade Rose and Jessica, Sharon Mullins and Sammy, Morgan Large, Coby Rasnick and Maria, Missy Mullins and Donnie; 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A graveside service was held Monday, August 17 at 1 p.m. in the Hill Ridge Cemetery with Elder Willie Cantrell officiating. Family and friends were requested to meet at Clintwood Funeral Home at 12:30 p.m. to proceed in procession to the cemetery. Pallbearers were Tom Fleming, Blake Fleming, Wade Rose, Ethan Mullins, Sammy Mullins and Austin Rose. Honorary pallbearers were Joe Roberts, Shirles Hill, Jimmy Rasnick, Lawrence Emory Cook, Dallas Cook, Coby Rasnick and Benny Yates.
