WILLARD MIKEL GENTRY

Willard Mikel “Super-C” Gentry, age 67, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2020 at University of Virginia, Charlottesville. He was born in Wise County and lived most of his life in Dickenson County. He was a former employee of Double R and an employee of Tri-County Contractors. He was preceded in death by his parents, Goffrey and Artie Gentry; two sisters, Ann and Evelyn, infant sister, Alice Joann and four brothers, James, Charlie, Eugene, and Treva.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Gentry; children, Tim Gentry, Jessica Gentry and Leah Gentry; one sister, Ila Dale of Russell County; two brothers, Bill Gentry and Joe Gentry, both of Pound; one granddaughter, Camilla Witt and several nieces and nephews
The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at 6 p.m. at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel with services to follow at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, July 30, 2020 at 1: p.m. with Denver Kelly officiating. Burial will follow in the Alfred Mullins Cemetery, Cutter Creek Section, Clintwood. Pallbearers will be Travis Lee, Tim Gentry, Bill Gentry, Bobby Beverly, Russell Hurd, Cody Mullins, Matt Baker and Shannon Witt. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Meade, Adam Jacobs, Bobby Kearns Stanley, Von Johnson, Kenneth Mullins and Doug “Burrhead” Stanley.
