SCOODA BELL BARTON

Scooda Bell Barton, age 70, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, Tenn. Born in Clinchco, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Ruby Rose Murphy. She was a graduate of Ervinton High School and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Bob and E.J. Murphy.

Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Dale Barton of Clinchco; children, Lesha Nichols and David Nichols both of Clinchco; granddaughter, Gracie Nichols of Clinchco and a brother, Ricky Murphy of Clintwood.

A memorial service was conducted at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at Haysi Funeral Home with Joey Fuller officiating. The family received friends after 6 p.m. on Tuesday prior to service at 7 p.m. Online condolences may be sent to www.haysifuneral.com.
