FONTIILA ‘FONNIE’ R. HILL

Fontilla “Fonnie” R. Hill, age 83 passed away Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Holston Valley Medical Center. She was a Dickenson County native. After living in Florida for several years, she returned to Dickenson County. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alex E. Hill; her parents, John M. and Clercie Hibbits Robinson and two brothers, Tollie Robinson and Jack Robinson.

Survivors include three step-sons, Alex Hill, Jr. (Lyneta) of Ga., Joseph Hill (Shawna) of Fl. and David Hill (Samantha) of Tex.; one step-daughter, Julia Hill Johnson (Jay) of Tex.; ten step-grandchildren; several step great-grandchildren; two sisters in-laws, Norma Robinson and Jonnie Robinson; nephews, Danny Robinson (Karen) and John Robinson (Beth); nieces, Brenda Price (Terry) and Paula English (Sam); four great-nephews, Eric Price, Mark Robinson, Logan Robinson and Matthew English; one great-niece, Haley Robinson and two great-great nieces, Alyssa Price and Ashley Price.

The family received friends Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. A graveside service followed at 3 p.m. at Powers Family Cemetery Coeburn Rd, Coeburn with Terry Price officiating.
