Virus testing offered today, coming weeks
July 15, 2020
The Dickenson County Health Department is offering drive-through COVID-19 testing at the Food City in Clintwood.
Testing is free and open to the public. Call the health department at 926-4979 to make an appointment.
Testing is available from noon to 3 p.m. on Wednesdays, July 15, July 22 and July 29.
“Testing is important to monitor cases as we begin to re-open, so we can investigate, trace the contacts of those infected and mitigate the spread of illness,” said Dr. Eleanor Cantrell, director of the Cumberland Plateau and Lenowisco health districts. “Remember that the best protection for each of us comes from personal precautions, including hygiene and physical distancing. That’s how you protect yourself and those around you.”
A healthy Dickenson County requires great community news.
