Sykes awarded scholarship

Recent Ridgeview High School graduate, Camdyn Grace Sykes, is the recipient of the 2020 Duty-Owens Family Scholarship.

The scholarship is funded by the Duty and Owens families and Attorney VeRonica R. Owens, from the Firm of Owens & Wagner, P.A., and is based on the Scripture James 1:22, “Be Doers of the Words.”

As a high school student, Attorney VeRonica R. Owens of Keystone Heights, Florida, dreamed the scholarship would one day honor the legacy of her grandparents, Earnest and Frances Duty and Woodrow and Lena Owens.  

This marks the tenth year of presentations with a total of 117 students being honored in Florida and Virginia.
