ZETTA ‘MIMI’ MULLINS STANLEY

Zetta “Mimi” Mullins Stanley passed away June 8, 2020 at the age of 90, at Holston Valley Medical Center, with family by her side. She was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County.

Mrs. Stanley was preceded in death by her parents Benjamin H. and Savannah Mullins; husband, Elmer Stanley; son, Lewis Stanley; son-in-law, Robert Lyall; grandson-in-law, John Fryatt II; brothers, Guy, Gamel, Charles and Robert Mullins; sisters, Nona Hawkins, Flossie Kelly, Nettie Carico, Tootsie Keels and Nora Lee Moore.

She is survived by sons, Kenneth Stanley of Clintwood, James Stanley of Pulaski and Earl (Peggy) Stanley of Clintwood; daughters, Gaynell Lyall, Linda (Ollie) Stanley, Faye (Freddy) Moore, Geraldine (Billy) Yates, Lois (Jerry) Robinson, all of Clintwood and Judy Ennis of Wise; 19 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren with 2 on the way, 1 great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2020, with a song service at 7 p.m. Funeral services were conducted at 11a.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2020, with Pastor Tim Mullins officiating, in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in the Mullins Family Cemetery on Cutter Creek. Pallbearers werre Michael Moore, Patrick Stanley, Russell Robinson, Brad Stanley, Keith Stanley and Brandon Stanley. Honorary pallbearers were Doug Hawkins, C.H. Kelly, Larry Mullins, Gary Moore, Guy Sluss, Ernie Mullins and Larry Moore.
