Food, supply distribution set for Friday in Clintwood

Three organizations will host a drive-through food delivery event Friday in Clintwood.

Feeding Southwest Virginia will provide coronavirus food assistance program boxes to feed a family of four for four days. The Health Wagon and United Breast Cancer Foundation will distribute essential items, goodie bags, hygiene products, Culligan water filters, pet food and more.

Participants are asked to come with an empty trunk so that staff can easily and safely put items in the vehicle.

The event will take place from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at 818 Happy Valley Dr., Clintwood.
