LAURA F. PHIPPS

Laura F. Phipps, 80, of Marietta, Georgia passed away at her home on April 17, 2020. Laura lived the majority of her life in Dickenson County.

She was born in 1940 and was the daughter of the late Joe and Vadna Mullins. Twin infant sons, Terry and Jerry Phipps, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband Chester C. Phipps of Marietta, Ga.; two sons, Jim (Laura) Phipps of Atlanta, Ga. and Ric (Jamie) Phipps of Marietta, Ga.; two grandchildren, Jack Phipps and Emily Phipps of Marietta, Ga. Survivors also include her brother Donnie Mullins of Davenport and three sisters, Shirley Keel of Bealton, Katherine Grant of Clintwood and Jean Phipps also of Clintwood.
There will be no immediate service. Donations may be made to World Central Kitchen at donate.wck.org. Her remains will be placed in the Phipps Family Cemetery, Fairview Road in Clintwood.
