Apple blossoms

These two apple blossoms show the before and after the recent snow. Wayne Riner writes:

The apple blossoms remind me of a few words that I wrote some time ago.  

‘In the late grey days of

winter I can see spring

on the high ridge.  

 I always dream of trees

and my mother...forever in dresses of blooms as when they were young.  

Now all are covered in snow.’
