Sheriff’s office gets donated masks
April 18, 2020
John Flannagan Dam & Reservoir Ranger Marty Davis recently got Army Corps of Engineers permission to donate 100 water safety bandanas to the Dickenson County Sheriff’s Office and county emergency services to be repurposed for use as protective face masks.
The sheriff’s office had not been able to find face masks for protection during the COVID-19 virus pandemic, according to Davis. ‘We will do whatever we can to help protect our first responders who put their lives on the line for us every day,’ he wrote.
A healthy Dickenson County requires great community news.
