Thanks to those delivering food to the kids

by By Brenda Davis, Columnist

A good evening to you all. I hope you all are doing well. No coronavirus, I hope. Just pray it will go away soon.

On Sunday we went to have a visit with Mom. As you all know the nursing home won’t let people in so we had our visit through the window. She was looking good. She was real happy to see Dave. They played peek-a-boo and she told him she wanted to braid his eard. It was good seeing her even if it was through the window. We all love you very much Mom.

We also ran into a great couple on Sunday. Ervin and Georgie Mullins, whom I hadn’t seen in forever. It was good seeing them and maybe next time there will be more time to talk. Come see us anytime.

I want to say thanks to the bus drivers who are delivering food to the kids who are at home because of the coronavirus. It’s sure taking it’s toll on people. Thanks to the Sheriff’s Department as well. Hopefully they can get back to school soon. It’s hurting the small businesses as well as the big stores. Jones and Counts will be using the drive thru only. The front will be closed. So please be patient with us.

I know some of you are wanting to get out and make a garden. Maybe this rain will stop so you can get out and work a little.

To all who have lost a loved one my sympathy goes out to you.

Get well to the sick. There are so many that are sick.

For all the birthdays in March I hope you had a good one and I send wishes for many more.

Happy anniversary to all.

I hope your week will be a good one. Stay safe and be happy.

Don’t forget to send me news at hulaone_1@yahoo.com so I can have something to write about.

Remember to always smile at someone.
