MABEL TACKETT DIXON

Mabel Tackett Dixon age 93, of Clintwood, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2020 at her home in Snowball Holler.

Mrs. Dixon was born in Pike County, Kentucky on March 5, 1926. She was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Dixon was preceded death by her parents, C.C. Tackett and Maggie Bates Tackett; husband, Ray Dixon; three brothers, Woodrow, Foster and Junior; three sisters, Chummy, Helen, and Ruth; two daughters, Judy Carol and Connie Jane.

Survivors include her son, Johnny Dixon and Pat of Hollywood, South Carolina; two daughters, Dottie Bostic and Stuart, Kaye Buchanan and David all of Clintwood; son -in-law, Greg Willis of Clintwood; 12 grandchildren, Shane, Jason, Steven, Stephanie, Brad, Heather, Chantel, Brittany, Brett, Jack, Logan and Lauren; 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 19th from 6 pm until 8 pm in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, February 20, 11 am, at the funeral home, with Mike Yates officiating.
Entombment will follow in the Phipps Memorial Cemetery, Clintwood.
Pallbearers are David Buchanan, Stuart Bostic, Grey Willis, Steven Mullins, Shane Mullins, Jason Mullins and Bradley Bostic.
