EMMA SUE FIELDS

Emma Sue Fields age 81, of Clinchco, passed away Monday, January 6, 2020 at Norton Community Hospital, Norton, Virginia. Mrs. Fields was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County and attended Counts Chapel Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

Mrs. Fields was preceded in death by her parents, Chub and Lizza Belle Price; longtime companion, Elmer Rasnick; several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include 3 sons, James Fields and Lois of Clintwood, Conley Trigg Aaron Fields and Dennis of Kingsport, Tenn. and Jeffery Wayne Fields and LaDonna of Lincolnton, N.C.; 2 daughters, Emily Sue Branham of Clinchco and Millie Ann Mullins and Charlie of Wise; 1 brother, Jim Price of Cedar Bluff; 1 sister, Betty Sudano of Margate, Fl.; 7 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives; special friends, Beulah Worley, Catherine Clay and health care aid, Becky Hackney.

Funeral services were held in the Clintwood Funeral Chapel, Wednesday, January 8 at 6 p.m. with Paul Rose officiating. Visitation began at 4 pm. Family and friends were requested to meet at the funeral home Thursday, January 9 at 12:30 p.m. to proceed to Grace Cemetery at Counts Chapel, Neely Ridge for a graveside service at 1 p.m. Family and friends served as pallbearers.
