LOIS ANN YATES

Lois Ann Yates, age 84, of Green Cove Springs Fla. passed away December 29, 2019. She was born in Dickenson County. She was the daughter of Gallie and Gusta (Branham) Mullins. She was of Christian faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Claude Yates; her daughter, Linda A. Sutherland; son, George A. Sutherland; granddaughter, Shannon Smyth and a sister, Linda Shepherd.

She was a member of the Light House Church in Orange Springs, Fla. She was an avid gardener, loved walking and being outdoors. She loved her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her children; Frankie (Brenda) Sutherland of Green Cove Springs, Fla., John (Lisa) Sutherland of Green Cove Springs, Dora Duty of Interlachen, Fla., Harmon G. Sutherland of Interlachen, Sherry (Wess) Anderson of Haysi; sister, Reda (Leon) Buckles of Interlachen, 12 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
