New state delegate names legislative team members

Virginia Delegate-elect Will Wampler has named former Big Stone Gap resident Mary Trigiani to serve as his advisor for strategic initiatives.
Also, Wampler announced Dec. 31, he has chosen Blake Roark as his legislative aide.
Both live in Abingdon.
In a press release, Wampler noted that Trigiani, whose family moved to Big Stone Gap in 1966, returned to southwestern Virginia in 2016 after working in Chicago and San Francisco in the professional services and technology industries.
Prior to running her own consulting practice, she served on the headquarters staff of Andersen Worldwide, parent company of Arthur Andersen and Accenture.
Upon her return to Virginia, Trigiani worked in community banking as a senior executive and served on the government relations committee of the Virginia Bankers Association.
Trigiani currently serves on the Southwestern Virginia Technology Council Board of Directors, the GO Virginia Region One Technology Working Group, and the Advisory Council of the Washington County Drug Court.
Roark has previously served as legislative aide to Del. Jeff Campbell, as campaign manager for Sen. Bill Carrico and as a legislative consultant to several Virginia-based small businesses.
Wampler was elected in November to the House District 4 seat vacated by Todd Pillion, who was elected to replace the now-retired Carrico in the Senate. House District 4 includes parts of Wise, Russell and Washington counties and all of Dickenson County.
