ALICE JEAN POLZIN

Alice Jean Polzin, age 72, of Haysi, passed away Monday, December 30, 2019. Born in Clinchco, she was a daughter of the late Stacy and Eva Anderson Wood. She was a Ervinton High School graduate, a homemaker and was of the Christian faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Donald Edward, Jr. Polzin and brothers, Stacy Wood Jr. and J.C. Wood.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Donald Polzin; a son, Jeffrey (Tabitha Mullins) Polzin of Manassas; three grandchildren, Jacob Polzin, Nathaniel Polzin and Ethan Polzin.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Haysi Funeral Home with Dianne Gimpl and Sue Morran. Burial will follow in J.J. Wood Cemetery, Haysi.
