RANDY WAYNE PHIPPS

Randy Wayne Phipps age 62, of Clintwood, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2019 at his residence. Mr. Phipps was born in Smyrna Tenn. He was a 1975 graduate of Clintwood High School, a retired coal miner and an avid outdoorsman. Mr. Phipps was preceded in death by his brother, Timothy Phipps.

Survivors include his parents, Avery and Katherine Phipps of Clintwood; 1 daughter, Crystal Phipps of Manassas; 1 brother, David Phipps and Rhonda of Clintwood; granddaughter, Kayli Phipps; his niece, Jennifer Phipps and nephew, Michael Phipps.

A graveside service was held Friday, December 20 at 2 p.m. in the Phipps Family Cemetery, Fairview Road, Clintwood. Frank Hall officiated. Family and friends served as pallbearers.
