BEULAH ‘SIS’ AGNES VIERS

Beulah “Sis” Agnes Viers, age 95, of Rakes Ridge Road in Birchleaf, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2019. Born in Dickenson County, she was a daughter of the late Tolby and Margaret Vandyke Byers. She was a member of Sandlick Presbyterian Church, was an avid gardener and loved sewing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Cleveland A. Viers; brothers, Ralph Byers and Harold Byers and son-in-law, Frank Haviland.

Survivors include her children, Steve (Miracle) Viers of Clinchco, Mickey (Grethel) Viers of Richlands and Gail Haviland of Ga.; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, December 21, at Sandlick Presbyterian Church with Pastor David Cummings officiating. Burial followed in the Jackson Cemetery, Birchleaf.
