Treasurer's office extends hours for tax deadline

The Dickenson County Treasurer's Office will have extended hours leading up to the tax deadline Thursday, Dec. 5.

The second half of 2019 real estates taxes and personal property taxes are due on that date.

Through Thursday, the office will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The office will close for lunch 12:30-1:30 p.m. daily.

The treasurer's office encourages all mail payments and has a drop box in the front of the Dickenson County courthouse for your convenience.

The treasurer's office is located at 818 Happy Valley Drive in the Dickenson Center for Education and Research, Room 144.
