STELLA LUCILLE BRANHAM

Stella Lucille Branham, age 89, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at Norton Community Hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County and a member of Flemingtown Freewill Baptist Church. Mrs. Branham enjoyed attending Clintwood Senior Citizens and was an active member. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and cooking. She also loved gardening and growing flowers. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Dee Branham; her parents, Carl Mullins and Hattie Cobb; infant son, William Dee Branham, Jr.; two brothers, William Mullins and Joseph Mullins; and one sister, Jean Cochran.

Survivors include one son, John C. Branham and wife Pam of Coeburn; one daughter Peggy Childress and husband Harry of Clintwood; two sisters, Ruby Mullins and Faye Lesher (Thomas Schneberger); one brother-in-law, Al Branham; grandchildren, Adam Childress, Adrian Childress (Matthew Blaha) and Isabella Branham; great-grandchildren, Madison Childress, Owen Carter Payne, Aubrey Childress, Carson Ray Blaha and Maddyn Blaha. Stella is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, Susie Smith, Jetheral Mullins, and the ladies of Clintwood Senior Citizens.

Graveside services were conducted Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Forest Hills Memory Gardens, Abingdon, at 11 a.m. Joe Glenn Sluss officiated. Burial followed. Family and friends served as pallbearers.
