Miraculous: Bus driver relates events of tragedy averted

Long-time Dickenson County bus driver Ben Kennedy displays a hand-made thank you card he received from students the morning after an Oct. 22 accident in which a huge tree fell on the bus as Kennedy was on the route picking up children to take them to school. Miraculously, no one was hurt. The children thanked Kennedy for keeping everyone safe. Kennedy related the story of that morning’s events to Dickenson County School Board at its meeting last week.
