County awakens to blanket of snow Sunday

Most areas of the county received 1-2 inches of snow Sunday morning. Even though we’re transitioning from winter to spring, a National Weather Service meteorologist notes that the early March snow is not unusual. PHOTO BY JO HAMILTON.
