Lawson Wallace includes the image of Circe, the witch goddess from Greek mythology, as among his favorite work because of its artistic composition and design and the drawing as a whole. The illustration is also shown on the cover of the book he holds. ‘Circe turned men into animals, and is featured in Homer’s The Odyssey, so I stayed with that theme in the image. But Circe is also a sort of sad and lonely character, so I wanted to capture this in the artwork,’ he noted.
