Haysi trail plans switch to local approach

On Saturday in St. Paul, ATV riders use this access road to reach the vastly more narrow and rough Mountain View trail, which has been used as a comparison in width to what's proposed as a new approach for a Haysi trail. In Haysi, hikers and horses would be welcome on the trail while Mountain View is designed for neither. Here, ATV riders move along the road's grassy edge, keeping down the dust as a courtesy to other riders.
