Heritage Hall Nursing Home, Clintwood, recently hosted a chili cookoff for staff members. Seven teams competed, making their favorite chili recipe and side dishes. Clintwood Mayor Donald Baker (far right) and Dickenson County Sheriff Bobby Hammons (far left) judged the competition. They are pictured with members of the winning team, from left, Dana Wade, Sheila Johnson, Misty Sexton, Carol Meade, Tracy Owens and Sally Belcher. Not pictured are Gerry and Joe Scardo. The chili cookoff was the beginning of a monthly team building competition at the nursing home, during which employees work together during fun activities to compete for bragging rights and good food.
