On April 29, the Clintwood High School Envirothon team traveled to Dublin to participate in the Area IV Envirothon competition. The team competed at different stations, including forestry; soils; aquatics; wildlife; special topic (sustainable agriculture); and an oral presentation, which focused on a sustainable agriculture plan for a farm. The team placed first in the soils and special topic stations and first overall, advancing members to the state competition at Sweetbriar College in Lynchburg, May 18-19.
