Haysi’s Main Street remains closed as cleanup continues for a building that collapsed after much snow and rain in late February. On Saturday, Sen. Ben Chafin and Del. Todd Pillion (far left and second from left, respectively) surveyed the damage while in town to celebrate the grand opening of a local business. With them is Michelle Jenkins, with Congressman Morgan Griffith’s office, and Haysi Mayor Larry Yates.
