Spring skeet shoot

On June 4, the Clintwood FFA hosted its annual Spring Shoot. Six FFA members participated in this year’s skeet shoot, which consisted of two rounds of 10 shots each, then a tie breaker. Winners were Brandon Cox, first; Cody Adams, second; and Daniel Baker, third. Participants, left to right, are Mattie Stanley, Elizabeth Mullins, Dickenson County hunter education instructor George Steele, Garrett Fleming, Dickenson County hunter education instructor Johnny Vanover, Daniel Baker, Scott County hunter education instructor Eddie Wininger, Cody Adams, Dickenson County hunter education instructor John Wilmot, Brandon Cox and Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries hunter education coordinator Jeff Pease. The FFA thanks the DGIF for sponsoring the event, along with conservation police officer Jeff Pease and the hunter education instructors who made the event possible.
