CARLA MICHELLE MULLINS

Carla Michelle Mullins passed away on Monday, June 8, 2026, at the age of 59, surrounded by her loving family. She attended the Buffalo Freewill Baptist Church. Carla adored her grandchildren and had a love for her animals, traveling, music, and concerts.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Kathleen (Kat) Counts; her sister, Vickie Guignard; her brother, Mike (Moose) Castle; a nephew, Chris Castle; two grandchildren, Troy McCowan and Miley Derrick, and step-daughter Misty Potter.
Survivors include her husband, John Mullins; three sons, Stephen (Shawna) McCowan, Bryan McCowan, and Nathan McCowan; stepchildren, Katy Mullins and Zack Mullins; and her siblings, Jimmy (Ellie) Castle and Bobbi (Damon) Rasnick. Also left to mourn Carla’s passing are thirteen grandchildren, Serenity McCowan, Timmy McCowan, Nathan McCowan, Tank McCowan, Reanna McCowan, Emma McCowan, Piper McCowan, Lacy McCowan, Allie Mullins, Karrol Mullins, Grayson Mullins, Gunner Mullins, and Kiera Mullins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home Chapel. A Celebration of Life service followed at 4p.m.
