GLENNA JANE (MULLINS) MEADE

Glenna Jane (Mullins) Meade, 77, of Wise County, went home to be with the Lord on December 31, 2025.
Jane was born December 6, 1948. The daughter of Glen and Rebecca Mullins. Jane enjoyed being a homemaker. She loved animals and never turned down a stray that needed help. She worked several roles in the banking industry and ended her career at In Home Care. Glenna is preceded in death by her husband, Emmitte “P-Nut” Meade; parents, Glen and Rebecca (Becky) Mullins; brother, Carl Mullins; and aunt, Rosa Cantrell.
Remaining to cherish Jane’s memory are her children, Kevin (Lena) Meade, Barry (Johanna) Meade, and Bryan (Kristi) Meade; grandchildren, Dalton Altizer, Michael Flemings, Steven Smith, Judson Meade, Shelby Meade and Nolan Meade; sister, Anita (Avon) Stanley; niece, Cheryle (Chuck) Radeke; nephews, Chris Stanley and Greg (Sarah) Stanley; special friends, Martha Stanley and Gerald Hamilton and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family received friends Monday, January 5, 2026, beginning at 12 p.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home Chapel in Clintwood with a service at 1 p.m. with clergy, Stacy Potter to officiate. Burial followed at the Levi Cantrell Cemetery in Pound. Pallbearers were Bryan Meade, Barry Meade, Kevin Meade, Nolan Meade, Gerald Hamiton, Dalton Altizer, Scott Stanley and Chris Stanley. Honorary pallbearers were Judson Meade, Steven Smith and Michael Flemings.
